Russia asked Washington to lift the restriction on Aeroflot as recently as April 2025 according to The Moscow Times, and further Istanbul-hosted talks in 2026 have not restored the route.
⚠ Because there is no through-ticket, this move needs two separate live-animal bookings with a tight handover at the transit airport. A missed connection or a paperwork mismatch between legs is a more common cause of delay on this route than either country's own import rules.
⚠ Russia's 5-day certificate endorsement window is tighter than most destinations on this site. Confirm the exact current template with Rosselkhoznadzor or an agent before the vet appointment is booked, since an outdated template or a certificate endorsed outside that window is a common reason for rejection on arrival.

Two distinct live-animal bookings are needed, not one through-ticket.
