Which Morocco rules depend on a pet coming from the United States?
Morocco sorts countries into 2 groups, and the United States falls in “Countries with an ONSSA origin-specific certificate”.
Use the certificate published by ONSSA for that origin (re-read 2 October 2026; the Netherlands model is dated 16 June 2026, the UK model 15 August 2025, the UAE model 3 October 2024). Official source
These rules apply to that group, on top of the rules every pet follows:
- Quarantine: Not listed: ONSSA's model health certificate for other countries (I.CT.CN.JUIL.2025, read in full 2 October 2026) lists the import health attestations in points 1 to 7; none is quarantine. The consular portal describes only an arrival veterinary inspection by the ONSSA border post vet, and ONSSA's live animal page names quarantine only for cattle, sheep and goats.
