Microchip

Not formally mandatory under Kosovo's published guidance, but strongly recommended, using an ISO 11784/11785 15-digit microchip implanted before vaccination. Given the airline's own paperwork checks, in practice every pet travelling this route carries one.

Rabies vaccination

Current rabies vaccination required for cats and dogs over three months old, given at least 30 days before entry, and administered within the vaccine's validity period.

Rabies titre test

Not required to enter Kosovo from any country under current published guidance, unlike the UK's own unlisted-country rules that apply in the reverse direction.
