This is one of the only Russia routes in this build with a real direct flight option, on three separate carriers. Don't assume that means less paperwork, though; Russia's own certificate and vaccination timing still apply in full.
All three carriers only resumed or increased this frequency in June and July 2026, following the ceasefire that ended the regional conflict grounding Gulf capacity since late February 2026. Reconfirm the schedule close to travel rather than relying on a booking made months out.
Gulf summer heat embargoes, typically June to September, apply to live cargo on the Dubai side of the journey regardless of which airline is used. Build in a buffer if travelling in that window.

Microchip before you vaccinate. The microchip must be in place before the rabies shot for the vaccination to count, and getting this order wrong is the most common and costly mistake.
Use an official, government-authorised vet for the health certificate, not just your usual clinic. Many destinations only accept certificates signed by an approved vet.
