Quarantine

No routine quarantine for pets arriving with fully compliant paperwork. Penalty quarantine of up to 120 days applies at the owner's expense if documentation, vaccination timing or the travel route is wrong.

Import permit

Not required. The Great Britain pet health certificate serves as the travel document for this unlisted-country route.

Required. Great Britain pet health certificate issued by an official vet in Tajikistan, valid 10 days from issue to entry. Dogs also need tapeworm treatment recorded on it, given 24 to 120 hours before scheduled UK arrival.
