Singapore entry requirements
Every item below must be in place before your pet can enter. We verify and track each one.
Microchip
ISO 11784/11785 or ISO 11785 Annex A compliant microchip, implanted before the rabies vaccination.
Rabies vaccination
Required before export. Seychelles does not appear on AVS Schedule I or Schedule II, so it defaults to Schedule III, and pets are revaccinated against rabies on arrival regardless of Seychelles' own rabies-free reputation. Source: AVS, avs.nparks.gov.sg, fetched July 2026.
Rabies titre test
Required. WOAH-prescribed rabies neutralising antibody test, minimum 0.5 IU/ml, blood drawn at least 28 days after vaccination, at a WOAH reference laboratory or one approved by a Schedule I or II country, since Seychelles has none of its own on that list. Result dated between 90 days and 12 months before export.
Quarantine
Minimum 30 days at the Animal Quarantine Centre (AQC). Current fees, in force to 30 November 2026: SGD 26 a day fan-cooled, SGD 35 a day air-conditioned, plus a SGD 75 airport transfer fee.
Import permit
AVS import licence via the GoBusiness Licensing Portal, applied for before departure. SGD 50 standard, SGD 100 express.
Health certificate
Government-endorsed certificate, completed between 2 and 7 days of the export date. Book the CAPQ inspection at least 5 days ahead of arrival; a walk-in inspection costs SGD 133 an hour.

Critical points
Seychelles' own rabies-free record does nothing to change Singapore's classification. Neither Schedule I nor Schedule II lists Seychelles, so it defaults to Schedule III, the same tier as most of Africa, Latin America and much of Asia.
There is no non-stop flight from Mahe to Singapore. Every shipment on this route connects through at least one Gulf hub, and Air Seychelles' own aircraft only carry accompanied pets, not unaccompanied cargo.
