Commonly restricted breeds include American Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler, Dogo Argentino and others. Always check destination country rules for your specific breed.
Start at least 3 months before travel for most destinations. For Australia, New Zealand, or Mauritius, start 7-8 months ahead because of mandatory titre test waiting periods (180 days) and limited quarantine facility availability.
