The EU animal health certificate is valid for 10 days from issue until the entry checks. The titre-test blood sample must be taken at least 30 days after the primary vaccination and at least 90 days before the certificate is issued.

Royal Air Maroc bans snub-nosed animals from its hold, and Lufthansa has barred them from its cargo hold since 1 January 2020. Lufthansa says snub-nosed dogs and cats can be transported as air freight, for example by Lufthansa Cargo.

Lufthansa carries dogs and cats from 12 weeks old, and from 15 weeks old for carriage from, to or via Germany. Germany's own rules give a minimum age of 15 weeks, because rabies vaccination is possible from 12 weeks and a further 21 days are needed.
