Pet Transport from Czech Republic to Oman
Which Oman rules depend on a pet coming from the Czech Republic?
None of the Oman rules we have verified names the Czech Republic on its own.
The rules that apply to every pet entering Oman, whatever the origin, are listed with their official sources in our Oman guide.
What does the Czech Republic require before your pet leaves?
- Export health certificate: Where a destination (for example Brazil or Panama) requires the certificate, passport or other identity document to be authenticated by the central competent authority (superlegalisation), the SVS Central Veterinary Administration does it (contact int@svscr.cz). Applies to dogs and cats leaving for destinations requiring central authentication.
II. Cestování se zvířaty v zájmovém chovu z České republiky do třetích zemí, checked 1 October 2026 - Export health certificate: Where the destination requires official confirmation or issue of a veterinary certificate, the official veterinarian of the locally competent Regional Veterinary Administration (KVS) of SVS confirms the documents the keeper presents, by arrangement and if the conditions are met. The owner attends the KVS in office hours or by appointment with the supporting documents; the pet need not be brought. The KVS vet may require a certified Czech translation of the certificate. Applies to dogs and cats leaving for non-EU countries.
II. Cestování se zvířaty v zájmovém chovu z České republiky do třetích zemí, checked 1 October 2026 - Export health certificate: Administrative fees charged by the KVS (Act 634/2004 Sb.): CZK 200 for an export veterinary certificate for one animal, CZK 500 for more than one animal, CZK 100 for official certification of a pet passport or other identity document. Applies to dogs and cats leaving for non-EU countries.

The dedicated SVS export travel page is preferred as the newer page: it cites Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/766, while the FAQ still links the pre-2020 Commission URL. - Other conditions: SVS states that for travel outside the EU the import conditions set by the destination country's competent veterinary authority must be met, and the person travelling with the pet should check them with that authority or its embassy. Applies to dogs and cats leaving for non-EU countries.
