Precision Air accepts small pets in the passenger cabin on applicable domestic Tanzanian routes. The pet must fit in a soft-sided carrier under the seat. Confirm current weight limits and route availability directly with Precision Air, as policies on regional African carriers can change. Precision Air does not operate significant international cargo for live animals.
Precision Air’s main hub is Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) in Dar es Salaam. The airline serves domestic Tanzanian destinations including Kilimanjaro (JRO), Zanzibar (ZNZ), Mwanza (MWZ), and others. Precision Air also operates some regional East African routes.
Dogs and cats entering Tanzania need a health certificate from an official government veterinarian, a current rabies vaccination, core vaccinations, microchip, and an import permit from Tanzania’s Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries Development. Confirm current requirements before travel as Tanzanian regulations can be updated.
