Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Allegiant Air permits small dogs and cats in the cabin on its US domestic routes. The combined weight of the pet and carrier must not exceed 20 lbs (approximately 9 kg). The carrier must fit under the seat in front of you. A pet fee applies per carrier per one-way segment. Allegiant does not transport pets in the aircraft hold or as cargo.
Allegiant requires a soft-sided carrier with mesh ventilation that fits under the seat. Hard-sided carriers are not permitted in the cabin. Maximum carrier dimensions are approximately 9 x 16 x 19 inches. The pet must remain inside the carrier for the entire flight and may not be removed at any point.
Allegiant typically permits one pet carrier per passenger. Two small pets of compatible species can share a single carrier if they are comfortable together and the combined weight does not exceed the limit. Confirm with Allegiant at the time of booking if you plan to travel with more than one animal.
