LOT accepts larger dogs as checked baggage or cargo. IATA-compliant hard-sided crates are required. Dogs must have a valid health certificate and current vaccinations. Breed restrictions apply to brachycephalic types.

Pets entering Poland (an EU member state) from non-EU countries need an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) in EU format, microchip, and current rabies vaccination. Dogs entering from non-EU countries also need tapeworm treatment 1-5 days before arrival. EU pet passport holders from EU countries can travel with just the passport.
