Yes. JetBlue’s JetPaws programme accepts small cats and dogs in the cabin. The combined weight of the pet and carrier must not exceed 20lbs (approximately 9kg). The soft carrier must fit under the seat in front. One pet per customer.
No. JetBlue does not accept pets as checked baggage or cargo. Pets must travel in the cabin with their owners. This limits JetBlue to small pets only - dogs too large for cabin travel cannot fly on JetBlue.
JetBlue requires a soft-sided carrier that fits under the seat in front. Typical approved dimensions are approximately 17 x 12.5 x 8.5 inches (43 x 32 x 21 cm) or similar. The carrier must be leak-proof and well-ventilated. Check current approved dimensions on JetBlue’s website.
JetBlue restricts certain dog and cat breeds, including all brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds and some large or aggressive breed types. The restricted breeds list includes Bulldogs, Pugs, French Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, and similar. Check JetBlue’s current JetPaws breed restrictions before booking.
