Frequently Asked Questions

Jazeera Airways does not generally accept pets as cabin or cargo passengers on their scheduled flights. Passengers with pets typically need to use Kuwait Airways or an alternative carrier, or ship pets separately via a specialist live animal cargo service.

Kuwait requires an import permit from the Kuwait Ministry of Agriculture, a health certificate from the origin country endorsed by the national authority, current rabies vaccination, and other vaccinations appropriate to the species. Certain breeds and species may require additional documentation or may be prohibited.

Kuwait Airways accepts pets in the hold on some international routes. Emirates, Qatar Airways, and Etihad all operate from Kuwait International Airport and accept pets as cargo on their respective networks. Confirm with each carrier directly for your specific route.
